Abburi Lavanya from Andhra Pradesh Capital district Guntur found dead in a poor in Alabama, USA. Lavanya hails from Narasaraopet, Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh. Authorities found the 27 year old floating body in a pond on wednsday near A&M research farm and confirmed her as Lavanya Abburi. She is on her student visa and enrolled for her PHD in Plant & Science program from Alabama A&M University.
The Alabama A&M University family is grieved by the untimely death of Lavanya, who was diligently pursuing her dream,” said AAMU President Andrew Hugine, Jr. “We offer counseling and other support to those who were touched by her presence and motivated by her determination. Moreover, we ask for prayers for her family, AAMU President says.
Autopsy to Lavanya body was completed on Thursday and cause of death is not clear, so decided to do further forensic tests, The Alabama county said in a statement. As per the initial reports there were no foul play found in the death, officials announced. It is leart that Lavanya Abburi was a frequent visitor to the pond location towards her agricultural research studies at Walkerlane farm station.
Meanwhile in home town Narasaraopet, Lavanya parents, family members and friends are in deep grief after hearing their loved one’s death in US while pursuing further studies. Lavanya parents requested government to support in bringing back her body to Narasaraopet.
